Job Purpose: To carry out clinic duties, non-surgical treatments and laser hair removal
Hours: 12—20 hours per week

Skills, Qualifications, Competence Level Qualifications / Education required:
Essential
⇒ Qualified Beauty Therapist Level 3
Desirable
⇒ IPL or laser for pigmentation, acne, rosacea, thread veins, Microdermabrasion, skin peels
Responsibilities
Potential Business
⇒ Promote the values of Defyne Aesthetics Skin & Laser Clinic in a positive manner
⇒ Promote the products and non-surgical treatments
Patient Care
⇒ Respect & treat patients
⇒ Carry out laser and/or aesthetic treatments and procedures. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with specific cosmetic procedure manuals and protocols (inclusive of laser hair removal and non-surgical treatments)
⇒ Document all patient interventions and store records securely. Chaperone patients during non-surgical consultation appointments
⇒ Take and store clinical photographs
⇒ Ensure patient confidentiality
Clinic tasks & Duties
⇒ Handle patient complaints
⇒ Administrative tasks e.g. reception cover, taking patient calls/enquiries, filing, carrying out recalls
⇒ Process and log payments
⇒ Book appointments
⇒ Utilise agreed company protocols, policies and procedures and pathways for effective service to patients
⇒ Take on marketing activities when agreed
⇒ Store and edit patient pictures
⇒ Stock take products
⇒ Clean clinic after each shift and set up in the morning

⇒ Deliver high quality, safe and effective treatments in accordance with Defyne Aesthetics policies
⇒ Adhere to the company Mission Statement
⇒ Regularly assess and evaluate practice by audit and implement change in a participative manner with colleagues
⇒ Supervision and support will be delivered in line with CQC practices
Personal Development
⇒ Train in the use of lasers and light therapies (Comprehensive training will be provided with supervision until competency is met. This will require you to be passed in the use by the manufacturer of the laser along with completing an online training package/workshop)
⇒ Responsible for personal continual education, training and development
⇒ Identify personal training needs and continually develop skills and competencies
⇒ Maintain a personal professional profile in accordance with Defyne Aesthetics Quality and Risk Management
⇒ Ensure compliance with company policies (health and safety, COSHH, risk assessment, fire regulations, infection control, decontamination, adverse events & complaints, data protection, this includes the professional management & monitoring by you of any complaint)
⇒ Promote quality care and service through the use of best practic
