Get to know the practitioners at Defyne Aesthetics Skin & Laser Clinic in Longridge, near Preston. We discuss your goals, medical history and treatment options at consultation, then explain the expected benefits, limitations and aftercare.

Established in 2014, the clinic offers skin, laser and aesthetic treatments. Laser hair removal uses our Cynosure Elite MPX with 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelengths. Meet the current team below and contact us to ask who will carry out your treatment.

Pinar is a dentist who has worked in aesthetics for 14 years. She brings a calm, considered approach to patient care, taking time to listen to each person’s concerns and help them feel comfortable and informed.

Kate Huddleston is an independent nurse prescriber, aesthetic nurse and Clinic Director at Defyne Aesthetics. Her nursing background includes experience in clinical and surgical settings, alongside over 12 years in aesthetics.

Her work includes injectable treatments, such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, alongside microneedling, laser hair removal and personalised skin treatments. She combines clinical assessment with an understanding of skin health to recommend treatments suited to each patient’s concerns and goals.

Kate places particular emphasis on natural-looking results, patient safety and honest advice. She takes time to discuss suitability, expected outcomes, risks and aftercare, helping patients make informed decisions about their treatment.

Her special interests are problems of the skin associated with vessel disorders like thread veins and Rosacea. She has completed the level 4 BTEC Laser, Light & Associated Aesthetic Therapies Advanced Award and a level 4 award in Advanced Skin Science and a foundation course in injectables. From her time at the clinic Kate has gone to appreciate skin concerns people have.
Kate loves the fact that our clinic can help people feel their best and rather than changing someone’s appearance simply enhancing their natural beauty and confidence. In her past life Kate has been a Programme Co-ordinator at the Fire Service for 10 years, working with the community helping people to reshape their lives. With Kate’s previous work experience as a qualified manager and quality assurance practitioner, she ensures very high safety standards are maintained. In her spare time she loves playing with her children, looking for new adventures and refurbishing old furniture.
Kate is keen to keep fit and cook delicious meals.

Page began her journey with Defyne Aesthetics as a receptionist, where her natural curiosity and passion for the world of aesthetics quickly grew. Inspired by the transformative power of laser treatments and skin therapies, she took the next step by training and qualifying as a laser practitioner.

Now an integral part of the clinic team, Paige combines technical expertise with a warm, reassuring approach to help clients feel confident and cared for during every treatment.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys long walks with her beloved Dogue de Bordeaux, exploring the countryside and spending quality time outdoors. She also loves travelling. Her favourite trip was when she ventured to America where she worked on a summer camp and cared for the camp America director’s children.
