Set up in 2014, Defyne Aesthetics based in Preston is run by Dr Pinar Akman and Kate Huddleston. The Preston Clinic has been set up to meet the highest standards. We have received training in the field of aesthetic medicine with recognised training centres, our laser is the latest piece of technology and our premises comply with the laser safety regulations. We have chosen the latest equipment and best products available and combined these with outstanding training, motivation and expertise
Moving on to Aesthetic Medicine was a natural step. As a dentist, Pinar has an excellent understanding of the features of the face. Through Pinar’s time as an Aesthetic Practitioner she has undertaken various courses and master classes in the use of anti-wrinkle treatment, dermal fillers, skin tightening treatments and skin peels, making her a master practitioner.
Pinar is passionate about taking on forward thinking treatments and using them to combat the natural aging process and environmental hazards that our skin faces. As the clinical director at the Preston Clinic, she makes sure we are always at the forefront of science and development.
Pinar is a keen reader and loves to do all her DIY herself.
Kate loves the fact that our clinic can help people feel their best and rather than changing someone’s appearance simply enhancing their natural beauty and confidence. In her past life Kate has been a Programme Co-ordinator at the Fire Service for 10 years, working with the community helping people to reshape their lives. With Kate’s previous work experience as a qualified manager and quality assurance practitioner, she ensures very high safety standards are maintained. In her spare time she loves playing with her children, looking for new adventures and refurbishing old furniture.
Kate is keen to keep fit and cook delicious meals.
Now an integral part of the clinic team, Page combines technical expertise with a warm, reassuring approach to help clients feel confident and cared for during every treatment.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys long walks with her beloved Dogue de Bordeaux, exploring the countryside and spending quality time outdoors. She also loves travelling. Her favourite trip was when she ventured to America where she worked on a summer camp and cared for the camp America director’s children.
